Northern Sailing Trip

Ahoy there, mates! Young Rabo invites you to set sail on an epic adventure in Friesland! Get ready for a weekend of nautical nonsense and sporty challenges, organized by Committee North and the Sport Committee. We'll be dropping anchor in the charming village of Heeg, Friesland, from Friday, July 11th to Sunday, July 13th.

Here's the scoop:

Friday, July 11th – Arrival at Heeg (approx. 17:00h) 

After you've stowed your gear and claimed your bunk, we'll gather for a dinner and get to know each other a little better. Expect to hear some sailing strategies and make plans for Saturday's sailing day. The evening promises games, laughter, and maybe a dance-off or two.

Saturday, July 12th – Sailing Day 

Rise and shine for breakfast, then it's time to hit the waves! Whether you're a seasoned sailor or a knot-tying novice, we've got you covered. Each boat will have a sailing pro to guide the way. Spend the day cruising and soaking up the sun. Don't forget your swimsuit for those refreshing dips! After a day of fun, we'll return to base for a delicious dinner and an evening of Young Rabo-worthy pub crawl.

Sunday, July 13th – Homeward

Sunday morning we’ll see the early birds chirping and the night owls snoozing. Enjoy a final breakfast before we wave farewell around noon. 

Important Information:

• Registration: Your spot is secured once you receive a confirmation email.
• The personal contribution for this trip is €55,-, what covers:
  • Two nights in a cozy waterside location
  • 2x dinner (Fri/Sat), 2x breakfast (Sat/Sun)
  • Boat rentals for Saturday
  • Fun-filled activity program
• Travel: Arrange your own transport. We'll set up a ride-sharing group chat, so let us know if you can offer a lift or need one.
• Sailing Experience: Indicate your sailing skills in the registration. No worries if you're a newbie—tips and tricks will be shared beforehand and during the event.
• Cancellation: Seasick? You can cancel until June 27th. After that, a €150,- No-Show fee applies if no replacement is found (no exceptions).
• Special Needs: Let us know about any (food) allergies or specific requirements to ensure a great weekend for everyone.
• Packing List: More details will follow, but you'll need more than just a swimsuit! ?
