Did you know that Young Rabo has a permanent seat on Rabobank’s Ethics Committee? This gives young professionals a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful discussions on ethical dilemmas that shape the future of our bank.
This Session's Topic: Commercial Use of Transition Data
How should Rabobank navigate the opportunities and ethical considerations surrounding the commercial use of transition data? Join us to explore this important topic and share your perspective.
What is the Ethics Committee?
The Ethics Committee meets every two to three months and brings together a diverse group of leaders from across Rabobank. The committee discusses complex, bank-related dilemmas that do not have clear-cut right or wrong answers.
Rather than focusing on what we must or must not do, the committee explores what we believe is the right thing to do. Based on these discussions, the committee formulates viewpoints and recommendations that help guide decision-making within the relevant parts of the organisation.
Why Your Input Matters
The Young Rabo seat represents the voice of young employees across Rabobank, and we want to hear yours.
You do not need to be an ethics expert or have specialist knowledge of the topic. What matters most is your willingness to reflect on the dilemma, form your own opinion, and contribute to an open discussion. Your insights will help inform Young Rabo's contribution to the Ethics Committee meeting.
Because the briefing memo contains sensitive information, it can only be shared shortly before the session. Participants will receive the memo 1 to 2 days in advance, so please make sure to reserve some time for preparation. There will also be plenty of opportunity to ask questions during the discussion.
So sign up and let's talk Ethics!
Registration closes on 22 September. Cancellations after this date, or non-attendance without notice, will incur a €5 no-show fee. Feel free to bring and enjoy your own lunch during the session.
