What if the decisions you make in your daily work, directly or indirectly, contribute to biodiversity loss?

And what if you could also be part of the solution?

Biodiversity might seem like a distant or abstract topic, but the reality is very different: the way we finance, invest, and assess risk has a direct impact on ecosystems, food systems, and long-term economic stability. The financial sector plays a crucial role in this transition, and so do you!

During this exclusive Young Rabo session, you will engage with the UN Youth Representatives for Biodiversity & Food. In their role, they collect perspectives from young professionals across the Netherlands and bring these insights into international negotiations, including the UN Biodiversity Conference (COP17).

This is not a traditional lecture. It’s an interactive and thought-provoking dialogue where we will explore together:

  • Where does biodiversity intersect with your daily life's and work?
  • What responsibility does the financial sector truly carry?
  • How do you balance return, risk, and nature in practice?

You’ll exchange ideas with fellow Young Rabo members, engage with challenging dilemmas, and gain insight into the international context of biodiversity finance.

At the same time, you will contribute concrete input that will be taken forward into UN discussions and global policy processes.

Your voice won’t stay in the room, it will travel to the international stage.

Curious about the role you play in one of the defining challenges of our time? Sign up and join the conversation.
