Intercompany Football Tournament

Rabobank is participating in the Clifford Chance football tournament!
In this 7v7 tournament, we will compete with other organizations for the prize - Ultimate Legacy and a trophy
We will start our day in Olympiaplein 31 in Amsterdam. The ideal location for a day of football, barbecuing and fun.

Tournament format

Please note that the first matches will probably be played from around 10:00 AM, lunch will be ready around 12:30 PM and the final will be played sometime between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. The award ceremony and the barbecue will then last until about 8 p.m., after which we can hopefully continue elsewhere in the city with those who want (location TBD, but previous editions this was at the Waterkant). The rules of the tournament:

• matches (7 against 7 including goalkeeper) last 15-20 minutes and are played on artificial turf (half pitches);
• kick in (so don't throw in);
• unlimited exchange;
• in the group stage: win 3 points, draw 1 point, loss 0 points;
• in case of equal final position in pool, mutual result is decisive, in case of a draw as mutual result, goal difference is decisive and in case of equal goal difference (including equal number of 'goals for') heads/tails are decisive;
• the losers of the semi-finals take penalties for third place;
• after a draw in the final rounds, penalties follow immediately (first 5 per team, then alternately).

You must bring the necessary equipment yourself, for football these are football boots (Preferably artificial grass shoes, since we play on artificial grass) and shin guards. You will receive a Young Rabo team shirt from us.
