Workshop at Buurman

On Friday March 7th, between 1.15 - 4.30 pm CET (3.45hrs), Buurman Utrecht is hosting an interactive workshop focused on woodworking and crafts, where we will work together on creating wall art (and a few lucky ones might even get to take something home…). Buurman Utrecht is a unique initiative focused on local reuse of materials. Located in the Werkspoorkwartier area of Utrecht, they operate a workshop and a building materials market where they give new life to what was once considered waste.

In addition, we will get a guided walking tour of the Hof van Cartesius. The Hof van Cartesius is a green and circular hub for creative and sustainable entrepreneurs. The buildings are arranged around a public, climate-adaptive garden, creating a green and inspiring environment. The guide will tell us all about it!

Afterwards, it is optional to go for some drinks nearby at Warmoes.

13:15 – 13:30: Walk-in

13:30 - 16:30: Workshop wood crafting & guided tour of the sustainable Hof van Cartesius

16:30 – 18:00: Optional drinks nearby

A personal contribution of €15 is kindly requested for this sustainable and interactive afternoon program and sustainable future committee will pick up the rest of the bill for you! Please note that the drinks at Warmoes are not included. You can unsubscribe via the website for this event until February 26th, 2025. After this, a no-show fee of €50 applies.
